2008
GOLDLINE® CONTROLS JOINS CRESTRON'S INTEGRATED PARTNER PROGRAM
Incorporating pool, spa, and other backyard functions for the greatest possible convenience

ELIZEBETH, NEW JERSEY (July 16, 2008) - Goldline Controls, an innovator in providing pool owners with effective and efficient pool products, today announced the company has joined the Crestron® Integrated Partner Program. With the announcement, pool owners can now use Aqua Connect™ to link their home automation system to their pool control system for one total automation control.

Today many home owners are using automation systems to control a variety of functions inside and outside of their home, including home theater equipment, lighting, landscape sprinklers and more. In addition, many pool owners have a separate control unit to manage their pool, spa and other backyard functions.

“At Goldline, we understand the value of home owners’ time and the need for simplification,” says Stuart Baker, vice president and general manager for Goldline Controls. “That’s why we developed Aqua Connect. It interfaces with common home automation suppliers like Crestron, so that the home automation control unit can effectively serve as the ‘universal remote’ for all indoor and outdoor home functions – including the pool and spa.”

Since the Aqua Connect technology interfaces with home automation suppliers, it gives pool owners full access and functionality of Pro Logic and Aqua Plus pool controls through the home automation panel. There’s no additional displays for the pool and spa – only the existing display that controls all home and property functions. That equates to one-stop management for the entire household.

SENSE AND DISPENSE™ RECEIVES READERS CHOICE AWARD
Sense and Dispense™ Named One of 2008 Top 50 Products by Pool & Spa News

North Kingstown, Rhode Island (June 30, 2008) - Pool and Spa News, a leading publication for the pool and spa industry, has named Goldline Controls Sense and Dispense™, Total Pool Chemistry™, one of the Top 50 Products for 2008. This innovative, ‘smart’ product was chosen based on positive reader response the magazine received to Pool and Spa News New Product Supplement. The magazine featured a review of the Top 50 Products for 2008, “Readers Choice” list in their May 15, 2008 issue.

“To be recognized as a manufacture of one of the top 50 products available to pool and spa owners is representative of our commitment to deliver cutting-edge, innovative technology,” said Stuart Baker, vice president and general manager for Goldline Controls. “We’re excited to offer our customers the ability to work less at maintaining their pool and spa’s water so they can enjoy them more. Sense and Dispense continuously samples the water measuring sanitizer activity and pH then, automatically dispenses chemicals to ensure safe, balanced water chemistry is maintained allowing swimmers to enjoy the best water quality possible.”

Sense and Dispense™, Total Pool Chemistry™ is a fully integrated option for the Pro Logic™ series and Aqua Plus™ Total Pool Management™ controls and the Aqua Rite™ Pro salt chlorine generator. The technology uses a proportional feed algorithm to continuously test the water, sample pH and sanitizer activity, and adjust the chemical feeding on a basis proportional to the demand. It finds the perfect balance of pH and measures the oxidation reduction potential (ORP) in the water to bring the high-quality standards of commercial pools to the backyard with automatic precision and cost effectiveness.

2007
AQUA RITE™ PRO OFFERS POOL OWNERS CONSISTENT WATER QUALITY
New Product Takes Pool Sanitation and Chemistry Management to Higher Level

North Kingstown, Rhode Island (November 20, 2007) - Pool owners will say good-bye to itchy skin, chemical odors and frustrating chemistry issues as they achieve the best possible pool and spa experience with the new Goldline Controls Aqua Rite™ Pro. Built upon the market leader’s industry-leading chlorinator — Aqua Rite — the integrated salt-chlorination and chemistry management solution automatically senses ORP and pH levels and dispenses a self-renewing supply of pure chlorine generated by salt, while controlling pH. The result is pool water that’s soft, silky-smooth and brilliant, automatically.

“With Aqua Rite Pro, pool and spa owners will receive the most consistent water quality while maximizing their backyard experience,” states Stuart Baker, vice president and general manager for Goldline Controls. “We’re proud to be taking residential pool and spa sanitation and chemistry management to a higher industry level. And we know our customers will enjoy the benefits of salt chlorination with the new Sense and Dispense™ Total Pool Chemistry™ automation technology.”

Sense and Dispense, Total Pool Chemistry is a fully integrated solution option for the Aqua Rite™ Pro salt chlorine generator. The technology uses a proportional feed algorithm to continuously test the water, sample pH and sanitizer activity, and adjust the chemical feeding on a basis proportional to the demand. It finds the perfect balance of pH, and measures the oxidation reduction potential (ORP) in the water, to bring the high-quality standards of commercial pools to the backyard with automatic precision and cost effectiveness. Integrating chemistry automation with sanitation also eliminates the need for an additional device on the pool pad and lowers installation costs.

North Kingstown, Rhode Island (November 20, 2007) - Thanks to innovative Total Pool Management and Chemistry technology, pool and spa owners can effortlessly take control of their backyard investments with the new Goldline Controls Pro Logic™. The flexible product offers integrated water chemistry automation, salt chlorination, a tie-in to home automation technology and control of up to 16 devices. And as Pro Logic takes over the work, the only decision left up to the consumer is to select the level of control best suited for their environment.

“We’re excited to offer our customers virtual control of their pools, spa and backyard features based on their respective lifestyles,” states Stuart Baker, vice president and general manager for Goldline Controls. “Now they can automate their pools, spas, backyard features with Sense and Dispense™ water chemistry. With less work required to maintain the pool and spa and the water itself, homeowners just have to sit back and enjoy their backyard experiences.”

Sense and Dispense, Total Pool Chemistry is a fully integrated solution option for Pro Logic™. The technology uses a proportional feed algorithm to continuously test the water, sample pH and sanitizer activity, and adjust the chemical feeding on a basis proportional to the demand. Integrating chemistry automation with sanitation also eliminates the need for an additional device on the pool pad and lowers installation costs.

Pro Logic models come equipped with four, eight or 16 relays. Virtual control provides pool owners access to additional display buttons for devices or functions that are either assigned to a relay or don’t require relays. REVOLUTIONARY NEW SENSE AND DISPENSE™ TECHNOLOGY HELPS POOL OWNERS WIN BATTLE FOR CLEAN WATER
New Integrated Product Achieves Commercial-Grade Water Quality Standards with Automation

North Kingstown, Rhode Island (November 20, 2007) - Recognizing properly sanitized and balanced water is critical for maximizing the pool experience, Goldline Controls is bringing another innovative technology to the industry — Sense and Dispense™, Total Pool Chemistry™. Previously only available for commercial pools, Goldline is offering residential pool owners with a cutting- edge, ‘smart’ product for continuously testing the water, sampling pH and sanitizer activity, and adjusting chemical feeding on the basis of demand. The result is brilliant, balanced water, automatically, all the time.

“When it comes to swimmer comfort and safety, as well as extending the life of their pool and equipment, pool owners should strive for good water — not just clear water,” says Stuart Baker, vice president and general manager of Goldline Controls. “Now pool owners can be assured that their water is properly sanitized and balanced thanks to the new Sense and Dispense, Total Pool Chemistry. The technology does everything for the pool owner so they don’t have to fuss with daily water testing and chemical adjustments.”

Sense and Dispense, Total Pool Chemistry is a fully integrated option for the Pro Logic™ series and Aqua Plus™ Total Pool Management™ controls and the Aqua Rite™ Pro salt chlorine generator.

The Advantage
When pool owners add Sense and Dispense, Total Pool Chemistry technology to their Pro Logic or Aqua Plus controls, they get the first controls to offer integrated chemistry automation. That is a significant accomplishment, which means that there is no additional box on the pool pad and no additional power line required, so pool owners still only use their control pad or remote to control all functions of the pool and spa. This integration lowers installation and energy costs since the power comes from the existing controls. The technology can also be added to new or existing control units, and the level of control can be customized for the individual pool owner based on their needs and the needs of the environment.

Pool owners can add the Sense and Dispense to their Aqua Rite Pro salt chlorinators. As with the Pro Logic or Aqua Plus controls, the Aqua Rite Pro salt chlorinators can be featured with integrated chemistry automation that does not require a separate box on the pool pad or an additional power line. And while there are existing products that may provide chemistry automation, Sense and Dispense is the only integrated solution that can be added to new or existing Aqua Rite Pro salt chlorinators at any point in time.

How It Works
Sense and Dispense, Total Pool Chemistry technology consists of two chemistry kits. The first kit senses pH and ORP levels and dispenses a self-renewing supply of pure chlorine generated from salt. The second kit lowers pH by using CO2, which has been shown to be particularly effective on salt chlorinated pools where the pH tends to drift up. By using CO2, pool owners are able to reduce the pH to recommended levels by forming H2CO3 (carbonic acid), a safe acid that does not require handling.

Both chemistry kits are used for controls and chlorinators. Additionally, the technology can support commercially available Peristaltic Acid pumps preferred by some pool professionals for the management of pH (This approach does not require the second kit to manage pH). And since the Sense and Dispense option can be added to both new and existing controls and chlorinators, pool builders and service professionals can feature the product as an initial upgrade or come back to customize the maintenance after the sale.
